We hope that we can get together in person to enjoy a glass of Cargasacchi wines! We’ll be pouring our wines at the following events, and hope to see you there.

While the winery is not open to visitors every day, you are certainly welcome to make an appointment to visit us - just email us and let us know when you'd like to stop by.

Winery Open Houses

We do open three times each year for our Open Houses - please sign up to our mailing list to receive email notifications of these events.

Spring Open House
April 21 & 22, 10am - 6pm
At the Winery, Lompoc

Join us at the winery as we anticipate the 2012 vintage during Vintners’ Festival weekend! We'll have all of our current wines available for tasting, and we just might pull out a few from the library. Come hear what Peter predicts for the 2012 growing season and vintage.

Stars of Santa Barbara

Hosted by Learn About Wine, who have long known that Santa Barbara winemakers are producing some of the best bottlings in the world. Now you can share in the excitement by tasting over 100 established and up-and-coming wines of the region, while learning about them from the owners, winemakers and winery executives themselves at the 9th Annual STARS of Santa Barbara Wine event. Our wines will be available for tasting at the Sommelier table.

Pinot Days
January 28
Barker Hangar, Santa Monica CA

Saturday's Grand Tasting will showcase over 125 phenomenal producers of pinot noir. Consumers will be able to sample up to 400 pinots from every important domestic pinot noir region, from Russian River Valley to Santa Lucia Highlands, Oregon to Carneros, Anderson Valley to Sonoma Coast to Sta. Rita Hills. Come to Barker Hangar to taste the highly acclaimed 2007 vintage, and talk with the gifted winemakers who created these beautiful wines. Local specialty food purveyors will serve delectables that pair well with pinot.

World of Pinot Noir
March 2-3
Shell Beach CA

Taste around the World of Pinot Noir with more than 80 producers of Pinot Noir – each a different producer than the Grand Tasting on Friday. While you are tasting globally, enjoy locally-grown, produced and prepared appetizers from Central Coast chefs, caterers and specialty food purveyors. As always, Kent Torrey returns with his incredible cheeses from The Cheese Shop of Carmel. As you taste from Austria to Australia, New York to Oregon, and all throughout California’s Pinot Noir regions, make sure to stop by the Silent Auction area to bid on something special for your own cellar. Admission price includes a WOPN crystal glass to remember the day.

Peter will be a panelist for the seminar “Natural Winemaking – Highest Respect or Neglect?” This promises to be a lively discussion and tasting, so be sure to sign up for that WOPN event!

Santa Barbara County Vintners’ Festival
April 22, 1-4pm
The Carranza, Los Olivos CA

Join us and the 110+ members of the Vintners’ Association as we kick off the spring season and the arrival of the 2012 vintage! All members will be there pouring their latest wines and will be joined by local chefs, caterers and specialty food purveyors sampling tasty appetizers. Two live and lively bands will fill the air with music and a silent auction will benefit local charities. This is a new location for the Vintners’ Festival this year, and is located on Zaca Station Road between Firestone Meadow and Hwy 154.
